1. Photography Consent

I voluntarily agree to participate in a professional photoshoot with The Studio SJ and understand that the session may include artistic, boudoir, lingerie, implied nude, or creative concepts depending on the session I have booked.

I confirm that I am participating willingly and of my own free will.

2. Age Verification

I affirm that I am 18 years of age or older and can legally consent to being photographed.

I may be asked to provide a government-issued ID at the studio.

3. Liability Release

I understand that during a photoshoot, certain poses or scenarios may involve physical movement, studio props, or water-based sets.

I agree that:
I am physically able to participate
I will communicate any discomfort immediately
I release The Studio SJ, Sara Jean, and all associated staff from any liability for injury or property damage that may occur during the session

This release does not cover negligence on the part of the studio.

4. Image Ownership + Usage

I understand that all photographs taken during my session are the intellectual property of The Studio SJ and are protected by copyright law.

My purchase of images or products grants me personal-use rights only, unless otherwise stated.

Unless I sign a separate model release, my images will NOT be used publicly.

The consent form I am signing today does not grant permission for The Studio SJ to post or publish my images, unless I choose to sign a separate, optional model release.

5. Privacy & Confidentiality

The Studio SJ maintains a strict client confidentiality policy.

This means:
My images will never be shared publicly without permission
My gallery will be delivered through a secure, private platform
Only approved Studio SJ staff may view or edit my images

6. Rescheduling + Cancellations

I acknowledge the following business policies:

Rescheduling

48+ hours notice → No fee
Less than 48 hours → A reschedule fee may apply
Same-day cancellations → Forfeit of session fee or deposit

No-Show Policy

Failure to attend my scheduled appointment without notice results in a full forfeiture of the session fee.

7. Refunds

Due to the nature of custom photography, all session fees, deposits, and product purchases are non-refundable.

Studio SJ invests time, preparation, studio resources, and creative planning for each client.

8. Editing & Retouching

I understand that The Studio SJ provides professional retouching in line with the studio’s artistic style.

This may include skin smoothing, color grading, lighting adjustments, and artistic enhancement.

Requests outside the photographer’s standard editing style may incur additional fees.

9. Safety, Boundaries, & Conduct

I agree to communicate clearly and respectfully during my session.

I acknowledge that:
I may decline any pose at any time
I can request breaks
My comfort and boundaries are a priority
Disrespectful or inappropriate behavior will end the session without refund

10. Consent to Studio Policies

By signing the form below, I acknowledge that:
I have read and fully understand all terms on this page
I agree to follow all Studio SJ guidelines and policies
I understand the nature of boudoir photography
I have had the opportunity to ask questions prior to consenting

11. Electronic Signature

By submitting the consent form on this page, I agree that:
My electronic signature holds the same legal weight as a physical signature

I am signing voluntarily and knowingly
